I.M.L.A. is a Graphic Novel featuring 10 original songs

The narrative of I.M.L.A. revolves around friendship: 4 young LGBTQ women of color make their way to Los Angeles from the Deep South with a dream of changing the world. Only together can they overcome the obstacles thrown their way.

She struggles with drug addiction as a means of coping with her toxic situation, and has a moment of lucidity, witnessing the desperation for approval from the groupies surrounding her... Shylene feels compassion in seeing them throwing their lives away for nothing.

Pandora's mom Aisha calls her daughter and the ladies to share startling news going on in their old Mississippi hometown. It eerily reads like Shylene's revenge wishlist against her childhood bully Boone. The ladies also learn of health trouble for Shylene.

I.M.L.A. Chapter 9 - The Best Intentioned Intervention

Panicked over the news of Shylene's drug overdose, Pandora Sofía and Mei Zhen stage an intervention for their friend. Little do they know what they're all in for.
